Normally, a pendant light with a single bulb tends to darken the room.
If you buy indirect lighting, you can secure the brightness, but it will cost you more.Therefore, I earn the amount of light with a branch socket.
According to the Japan Lighting Manufacturers Association guide, a brightness of XNUMX to XNUMX lumens (lm) is recommended for a XNUMX tatami room.
Here, we aim for the lower limit of 2400 lumens (lm) to match the atmosphere of a Japanese-style room.

Assemble your purchase
Once you have the parts, it's time to assemble.
Assemble the shade first.
Next, insert the branch socket and LED bulb into the lamp shade and assemble it inside the shade. (Because it does not enter the lampshade after installing the bulb)
The cord set (IKEA's HEMMA Hema) can be attached directly to the ceiling plug (with hook ceiling) or ceiling hook rosette.
The cord can be rolled up and stored while looking at the manual.
It is completed when the cover is fitted.
The diameter of the lampshade is 45 cm, which is quite large, so if the cord is long, the light will hit your head and get in the way.
With 2400 lumens, this one is bright enough, and thanks to the shade, the light spreads softly and matches the atmosphere of a Japanese-style room.
